Wells not Wales
If you live in or near Wells in Somerset you’ve probably found yourself explaining that you live in ‘Wells not Wales’ many a time. Joby Carter relocated to Wells in August 2024 and found it was a recurring statement for him.
This fine art print features hand painted lettering which was drawn and painted by Joby Carter in his UK workshop using traditional signwriting techniques. There are no computers or shortcuts used in Joby’s signwriting workshop!
Once complete, the artwork was then professionally scanned and then giclee printed on museum grade fine art paper (310 GSM) using lightfast inks, ready for you to display on your walls at home.
This print has not been digitally airbrushed, and you may see minor imperfections from the paint brush or varnish which are part of the authentic charm of hand painted lettering.
The overall paper size is 12×12 inch (the same size as an LP record if you are of a certain age and remember them!) and it will fit in standard 12×12 mounts or frames.
