Foden – Original Painted Sign
A tribute to one of Britain’s most iconic truck manufacturers, this hand-painted Foden sign combines classic sign writing with bold colour and vintage commercial style.
Joby originally painted a series of these signs using different words to practise this distinctive lettering style, making each one a part of an enjoyable creative exploration. This version features Dodgem Blue Lettering with a French Blue stepped away edge. Finished off with an Octopus Blue border that makes the design stand out.
As many will know, Foden hold a special place in British transport history and it’s a name thats particularly close to Joby’s heart, having owned several Foden trucks when touring the famous Carters Steam Fair.
