Fairground Art

This one day fairground art course is designed to give a unique overview into the history and evolution of fairground art through the decades. The course includes a tour around the headquarters of Carters Steam Fair and the chance to see an archive of fairground art pieces which have been rescued by Joby Carter and team including original artwork by Fred Fowle.

There will be demonstrations of the different techniques used in fairground art which will give you an insight into the art and you will also have the opportunity to try some of the techniques. This course is ideal for anyone with an interest in fairground art styles or anyone who is painting professionally that wants to add that extra sparkle and authenticity to their work. This course has been popular with those involved with set design for TV and film.
