Tallship Alphabet Magnets
Brighten up your fridge or magnetic noticeboard with our alphabet letter magnets featuring hand painted lettering created by Joby Carter in a style known as ‘Tall Ship’. Starting with an easy to read lettering style, each letter was then bevelled and given a fairground twist by adding flamboyant paint to the block. The bevel is painted with four colour swatches created by Joby Carter and used at Carters Steam Fair. The finished letters were then photographed to form one of the alphabets in Joby Carters book, All the Fonts of the Fair and the images were used to create these magnets. Each magnet measures 2 x 3 inches.
