Proper Lush – Original Painted Sign
Painted by Joby Carter ‘Proper Lush’ is painted on plywood, the lettering is Tuscan Curveside in an italic style, in Kingsway Red.
Looking closely at the letters you’ll spot playful Swanney Pink flourishes, and a stepped away Oxford Ochre block with a sculpted Carters Cream lining around the edge of the sign framing the lettering.
It’s a traditional looking sign full of character, perfect for hanging in a bedroom, dressing room, studio or giving to that one friend who is ‘Proper Lush’!
Sign measures 357 x 268mm & is 12mm thick. It is a general release piece of artwork, there may be imperfections from the paint brush or varnish which are part of the true charm of hand painted lettering.
