LOVE – Shield – Original Painted Sign
Simple, bold and full of feeling, this hand painted Love sign gets straight to the point. Painted on a traditional fairground shield shape, it’s lettered in Curveside, with flowing forms that feel warm, confident and timeless. It also makes a great Valentine’s Day gift (lasting longer than flowers!).
The lettering is painted in Baby Green, finished with December Green dots and drops and a clean black outline with green flamboyant shadow, giving it just enough depth to lift the letters from the surface. The face of the sign is Paybox Green.
Around the edge, the border is aluminium leaf, varnished and painted with purple flamboyant, then blended away at the bottom so the silver shines through. It’s a classic fairground technique that keeps things bold without being overworked.
Painted by hand on aluminium composite board, this is a one-off piece with visible brush marks and natural variations that make it unmistakably hand made.
Straightforward, confident and full of charm, a proper sign that says Love and means it.
