BE MINE – Shield – Original Painted Sign
Straightforward, bold and full of charm, this hand painted Be Mine sign says exactly what it needs to, making it a perfect Valentine’s gift for anyone who’d rather give something lasting than a card and a box of chocolates. Painted on a traditional fairground shield shape, it’s a confident little declaration that doesn’t over complicate things.
The lettering is in Tuscan Curveside, with that unmistakable fairground rhythm. The letters are painted in Perfect Purple, layered with Bright Red and finished with Dodgem Pink, creating rich colour and movement that really lifts the words.
The block behind the lettering is Baby Green, with December Green darker areas underneath and crisp white highlights. Unusually, the dots and drops  shift into pink towards the top, giving the lettering a playful edge and making it a slightly unexpected, memorable piece.
Painted by hand on aluminium composite board, this is a one off, complete with brush marks and some imperfections which just adds even more character and proves you are getting a real Joby original!
