Bristol – Original Painted Sign
A love letter to place, with a bit of swagger.
This one leans into an art deco rhythm, or at least Joby’s version of it. Made up, freestyle and built on instinct. Stepped away block, dotted details, little drops running both way, all layered to give it movement without losing it’s structure.
Painted on aluminium composite, with a soft cream base that blends out into darker edge, then framed in a deep green outer. The lettering itself pops in a bold Bright Red, offset with Baby Green dots and drops and anchored by a Paybox Green stepped away block that gives it weight.
It’s playful, graphic and full of character. The kind of piece that doesn’t take itself too seriously but still holds its own.
A proper nod to Bristol. Colour, energy and a bit of edge.
