Description

VW PASSION WAGON is a colourful, playful tribute to the much-loved VW camper - and perhaps a little nod to what you might get up to in one!

Joby has painted a few VW-inspired signs over the years, each with a completely different background and its own character. This one is painted on a circular piece of aluminium composite, starting with a rag-rolled background before adding the familiar VW-inspired design. There's a hint of a mock chrome effect running through it, but with plenty of colour to keep the whole piece fun and unmistakably hand-painted.

The PASSION WAGON lettering follows an arch across the sign, painted in Alpha Red with a Dodgem Blue stepped-away block. French Blue highlights add another layer of detail, while crisp white highlights along the side give the letters depth. There's even a cheeky little sparkle in the centre to finish it off.

At approximately 39 cm in diameter, this is a genuine one-off piece of Joby's traditional signwriting, ideal for anyone with a love of classic VW campers. Pop it in the camper window when you're at a show, hang it in the garage, or simply enjoy it at home.
Additional details

Painted by hand using traditional signwriting techniques, every sign carries the subtle brush marks and individual character that come with genuine hand-painted work. No two are ever quite the same – you’re buying a real piece of Joby Carter’s signwriting, not a digitally produced reproduction.
