Description

VEE DUB is a simple little sign painted especially with the VW enthusiast in mind.

Painted on a classic shield-shaped piece of aluminium, the sign has a black background surrounded by a Swanee Pink border, with Dodgem Pink highlights worked over the top to give the edge a little extra character. The shortened and much-loved nickname VEE DUB is painted in Oxford Ochre, with the lettering sitting on a slight curve. A maroon stepped-away block falls to the left and underneath, giving the otherwise simple lettering just enough depth to make it stand away from the dark background.

There are no complicated tricks with this one, just a straightforward piece of traditional hand-painted signwriting, with a great colour combination and a nod to one of the most recognisable motoring names around.

Hand-painted on aluminium and measuring approximately 31 x 31 cm, it's a fun piece for anyone who loves a "Vee Dub" - perfect for the garage, workshop, camper or home.
Additional details

Painted by hand using traditional signwriting techniques, every sign carries the subtle brush marks and individual character that come with genuine hand-painted work. No two are ever quite the same – you’re buying a real piece of Joby Carter’s signwriting, not a digitally produced reproduction.
