Description

SUPER TWAT - because sometimes being just a twat isn't quite enough.

One of Joby's favourite words gets the full traditional signwriting treatment on this bold shield-shaped sign. Painted with a rich red background and crisp black border, it's a colourful, playful piece with plenty of detail packed into a relatively small space.

The word SUPER is painted in Baby Green with Playbox Green highlights, while TWAT is picked out in Dodgem Blue with French Blue highlights. The stepped-away block is unusually positioned above and to the left of the lettering, painted in Alpha Red with Kingsway Red shadows and Perfect Purple shading to add even more depth.

A couple of little hand-painted stars sit either side of the lettering, with a simple line across the top, a cheeky bit of space filling that finishes the composition off nicely.

Painted entirely by hand on premium aluminium and measuring approximately 30 x 31cm, this is a genuine one-off from Joby's workshop. Bold, colourful and a little bit rude, perfect for someone with a good sense of humour and an appreciation for traditional signwriting.
Additional details

Painted by hand using traditional signwriting techniques, every sign carries the subtle brush marks and individual character that come with genuine hand-painted work. No two are ever quite the same – you’re buying a real piece of Joby Carter’s signwriting, not a digitally produced reproduction.
